Report Fax Spam

Received an unsolicited or fraudulent fax through the Eldon network? Here's how to report it — and what happens next.

Last updated · April 14, 2026

Eldon takes abuse of our network seriously. If you received an unsolicited or fraudulent fax that appears to have been sent through Eldon, please report it using the steps below. Your report helps us suspend bad actors quickly and keeps the fax network usable for everyone.

What counts as fax spam

  • Unsolicited commercial advertisements sent to a fax number without an established business relationship or prior consent.
  • Faxes missing the opt-out notice required by the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and FCC junk-fax rules.
  • Faxes that impersonate a legitimate business, contain phishing links, or attempt to defraud the recipient.

How to report

Email [email protected] with:

  1. A scan or PDF of the fax (including the transmission header at the top of the page).
  2. The fax number that received the message.
  3. The date and time you received it, with your time zone.
  4. Any sender information visible on the fax — callback number, company name, or website.

We aim to acknowledge reports within one business day and to investigate within five. Reports are handled confidentially.

What happens after you report

When a report is substantiated, we take one or more of the following actions: issue a warning, require the sender to enable opt-out handling, suspend the sender's account, and — for repeated or egregious conduct — permanently terminate service and cooperate with regulators.

Other avenues

In the United States, you may also file a complaint with the Federal Communications Commission at consumercomplaints.fcc.gov. Reporting to Eldon and to the FCC are complementary — one does not substitute for the other.
